VHS Video Label materials
Virtually any of our over 40 different substrate materials can be used, depending on the color of the casette (usually black), and the desired effect. A few common examples are:

Polyester 2 mil - Gloss White:
best all around; easy handling, durable, and a glossy white finish.
Std 4 mil Vinyl - Semigloss White:
economical but not as durable as polyester; flatter, satin finish.
Polyester 2 mil - Brush Gold or Silver or Shiny Gold or Silver:
Very rich metallic look with all advantages of polyester; contrast well with black casettes.
Holographic 3.7 mil Vinyl:
Very dramatic eye catching effects; makes a "loud" visual statement
Lexan® 10 mil:
substantial "nameplate" look; a VERY premium appearance.
Clear Polyester or Vinyl:
to make printing appear as if it is directly applied to casette. (May require white as a printing color if casette is dark plastic or printing color is relatively transparent.)
Other materials from Fluorescents to Glow-In-The-Dark vinyl:
For whatever "special effect" you want to add to your video's first impression.

Label Sizes and File Template Downloads
VHS Face labels should have a finished cut size of 3.094" x 1.844". Spine labels should be 5.75" x 0.75". Corner radius for both is 0.08". We have found these sizes compatible with virtually any cassette with a minimum of border space within the indentation for the label. Bleeds should extend 0.05" beyond the cut edge in the graphics file.
