Shape & Size:
Your rating plate labels printing project should include all of the information fields you need to display and plenty of room to write in those fields. As a suggestion: print out your design as a draft and try writing in the fields. Include staff who will do the writing. Embossable aluminum labels have a satin finish and can be embossed using a ballpoint pen or a typewriter. Great for tamper-resistant uses such as expiration and inspection dates. THIS MATERIAL IS NOT INTENDED TO ACCEPT HAND-WRITTEN INK. It has a 3-5 year outdoor durability rating.

Rating plate labels are screen printed with PMS (Pantone Matching System) ink colors. PMS is a "solid color" matching system. We keep an array of base Pantone inks in our rating plate label printing shop, such as Warm Red, Rubine Red, Green, Yellow, Reflex Blue, and Violet. Most PMS colors have a "recipe" that our print shop follows to achieve the desired rating plate decal color.
The most common ink color used in rating plate label printing is black.
