Custom-cut dealer decals are made from tough weather resistant vinyl with sun-safe UV inks. Apply vinyl dealer decals directly to every vehicle you sell. Minimum order is just 125. Allow 10 to 15 business days for production.

    • The Typical Size of an Auto Dealer Vinyl Decal is :

      4.5" wide X 1.5" high

    • Custom cut vinyl dealer logos can be up to 6" wide. The height from top to bottom can be up to 2.75". The total area used must be 17" square, or less.

    Ink Color:

    Most cut vinyl decals do not require ink. The color of your artwork is the vinyl color (material) you select. However, very detailed images or text should be printed on the vinyl to make sure they are readable. If you have any images or text smaller than 1/4" in height or narrower than 1/16" line stroke, use an ink color for that area.


    Be careful to select ink colors that will contrast with your vinyl material selection. Also remember that the ink color and the material should contrast with the vehicle color. When using inks on your vinyl decal, we suggest medium colors such as tan, gray, orange, metallic silver and metallic gold.

    If these colors aren't what you're looking for or if you need to match an exact PMS color on your cut vinyl decals, such as when a corporate logo color is used, please contact CustomerCare so they can discuss your cut vinyl decal color needs with our print shop. This will ensure a close match.




▼ How to apply Cut Vinyl & Transfer Tape :

    1. Clean surface and wipe dry.

    2. On flat surface, remove opaque liner by pulling back on liner parallel to vinyl and translucent transfer tape. Do not pull up and away from vinyl.

    3. Carefully position vinyl in place onto final application surface.

    4. Apply pressure evenly. Start lightly, increase pressure slowly.

    5. Use a credit card or other smooth plastic edge to smooth out creases and bubbles, and to burnish onto application surface.

    6. Remove transfer tape by pulling down and away from sticker, parallel to vinyl and the application surface.

    7. Finish removing transfer tape, making sure each piece of sticker remains on application surface as you pull.

Proof Policy

We strongly urge you to request a proof. Digital web proofs are free.

How The Proof Process Works:
• Within 24-48 hours (not including Saturday, Sunday, or Holidays) of receipt of your artwork, you will receive an email with proof instructions.
• The email will include a link to your proof and instructions for approving or indicating changes to your proof online.
• If you make changes, a new proof will be prepared and you will be emailed once the revised proof has been posted.
• We will notify you of any charges due to artwork modifications before we start production.
• Once approved, your artwork is immediately sent to production.

IMPORTANT
If you waive a proof by selecting “No Proof” your order will be released to production immediately. No changes or alterations to your order will be possible. Any changes to or cancellation of a “No Proof” order will be charged for the full price of job. We are not responsible for artwork related errors or color variations in the finished product if you select “No Proof”.

ARTWORK INFORMATION AND POLICIES
• Artwork touching the edge of the design must extend at least 1/8” beyond the die-line in the art file for products allowing bleeds.
• We strongly urge you to provide a 300dpi or higher file in .pdf format. (low resolution artwork pulled from the web will not work)
• If You Are Not Providing a pdf file:
    • We can work with the most recent Macintosh and Windows versions of:
        § Adobe® Illustrator® saved as .ai, .eps, or .pdf
        § Adobe® Photoshop® saved with layers as .tiff, .eps, or .psd
        § QuarkXPress ™ collect for output
        §Adobe® InDesign® and Adobe® CS® package files
    • All text in your artwork should be submitted with fonts outlined (converted to curves or paths). Note: be sure artwork is correct.
    • Editing of text will not be available with outlined fonts. If artwork is submitted with fonts, all screen and printer fonts need to be included when file is uploaded.
    • If an IBM font is used in your electronic file, the printer and screen font must be supplied.
    • Providing fonts will ensure we can make any changes to your text if necessary.
    • All photographic image files should be in CMYK format.
    • Keep design in one program - i.e. do not place image in Illustrator®, then place the Illustrator® file in QuarkXpress™.

Additional Charges:
If additional charges apply, you will be notified within 24 Hours. The most common charges are:
· Customer changes made to proofs. $15.00 minimum charge.

· A “No Proof” job that is canceled or changed in any way will result in the full cost of job being charged.
