Many of our label products meet the requirements for UL (Underwriters Laboratories) recognized systems. If your labels require UL Recognition, be sure you have chosen a substrate material marked "(UL)" in the drop down list above (only polyesters and Lexan qualify), along with overlaminate or adhesive marked "(UL)" if applicable. All of our printing colors qualify, except for those marked "(NonUL)". When you click Submit, your choices will be automatically analyzed, and the appropriate UL Recognized System assigned, or you will notified that you have chosen a non conforming combination. (Note that not all UL material substrates can be matched with every UL overlaminate or adhesive.)†

ARTWORK INFORMATION AND POLICIES
We strongly urge you to provide vector Macintosh files for your artwork. However, we support the most recent Macintosh and Windows versions of: • Adobe® Illustrator® saved as .ai, .eps, or .pdf • Autocad DWG and DXF files exported as Illustrator or PDF files are also acceptable.
• Preferably, all text in final artwork should be submitted with fonts outlined (converted to curves or paths). Note: be sure artwork is correct as editing of text will not be available with outlined fonts. If artwork is submitted with fonts, all screen and printer fonts need to be included when file is sent. If an IBM font is used in your electronic file, the printer and screen font must be supplied. Providing fonts will ensure we can make any changes to your text if necessary.
• Artwork must be vector artwork and at actual printed size. All images should be in CMYK format. Placed images should be single subject, i.e. do not place image in Illustrator®, then place the Illustrator® file in QuarkXpress™. Keep design in one program.
Additional Charges May Apply if:
• The above guidelines are not followed.
• Changes are made to proofs. $15 minimum charge.
• Non-proofed order is canceled or changed in any way. Full cost of order will be billed.
If additional charges apply, you will be notified within 24 Hours.
Please contact CustomerCare if you need additional information. Thank you.
