Embossable aluminum material has a satin finish and can be embossed using a ballpoint pen or a typewriter. Great for tamper-resistant uses such as expiration and inspection dates. THIS MATERIAL IS NOT INTENDED TO ACCEPT HAND-WRITTEN INK. It has a 3-5 year outdoor durability rating. Permanent acrylic adhesive. 60# face stock / 40# liner.

All rating plate labels are screen printed.

Rating plate label printing colors come from the Pantone Matching System, or PMS. PMS is a "solid-color" matching system. We keep an array of base Pantone inks in our rating plate label printing shop, such as Warm Red, Rubine Red, Green, Yellow, Reflex Blue, and Violet. Most PMS colors have a "recipe" that our print shop follows to achieve the desired decal color. The most common color used in rating plate labels is black.
