About Short Run Durable Decal Material Choices.

Short run durable decal material selection is typically based on the color or transparency of the item the decals will be applied to and. Choose from white vinyl or transparent polyester. The polyester material can be printed with adhesive on the face or back. Printing on the face of the label makes it possible to apply the decal so it can be seen correctly through glass.

Calendered white vinyl with a permanent, pressure sensitive adhesive. It has a 3-5 year outdoor durability rating. Permanent adhesive. 60# face stock / 40# liner.

Transparent Polyester - Adhesive On Back/Front Durable Decal Material

- Clear see-through finish
- Permanent adhesive on back OR

Transparent Polyester Durable Decal Material - Adhesive On Back

See through poly with a permanent, pressure sensitive adhesive.It has a 3-5 year outdoor durability rating. Permanent adhesive. 60# face stock / 40# liner.

Use adhesive on back to apply to any surface, and be read from the side it is applied to.

Use adhesive on front to apply to glass for reading of label through the glass.

Short Run Durable Decal Color Choices.

When selecting transparent polyester as your material, we automatically add white as a base printing color.

Durable decal printing colors come from the Pantone Matching System, or PMS. PMS is a "solid-color" matching system, used primarily for specifying second or third colors in printing durable decals - meaning colors in addition to black, (although, obviously, one can certainly print a one-color piece using a PMS color and no black all). We keep an array of base Pantone inks in our printing shop, such as Warm Red, Rubine Red, Green, Yellow, Reflex Blue, and Violet. Most PMS colors have a "receipe" that our print shop follows to achieve the desired hard hat decal color. The base durable decal colors, along with black and white, are combined in certain proportions within our print shop to achieve other PMS colors.
