Your cut vinyl decal design should use large type and thick lines for artwork. Avoid small type or details as these tend to be too small to read from a distance. Advertise your name, not your marketing pitch. While we offer seven colors of vinyl, the best results are achieved by using white and black decals. Use white for darker vehicles and black for lighter colored vehicles. If you opt to use red, blue, green, silver or gold, be sure that you have enough contrast for the decal to stand out.

We can cut/print your decals in any size up to 17 square inches. The width can be up to 6", reading left to right.

The most popular size for auto dealer cut vinyl decals is 1.5" high (top to bottom) and 4.5" wide (left to right).

Your decals are cut from heavy duty vinyl that is resistant to the elements. The vinyl material is backed with an aggressive adhesive to ensure that the decals stay in place.

Here are the basic specifications for the custom cut vinyl material we use:

- Calendared white vinyl
- 3-5 year outdoor durability rating
- 60# face stock / 40# liner.
- Matte white finish
- Permanent adhesive on back

How To Apply Your Custom-Cut Vinyl Decals

1. Clean vehicle surface
2. When dry, apply vinyl. Squeegee
3. Remove "pre-mask". Smooth bubbles - if any.

Custom-Cut Vinyl Decal Ink Color Choices.

Most cut vinyl decals do not require ink. The color of your artwork is the vinyl color (material) you select. However, very detailed images or text should be printed on the vinyl to make sure they are readable. If you have any images or text smaller than 1/4" in height or narrower than 1/16" line stroke, use an ink color for that area.

Be careful to select ink colors that will contrast with your vinyl material selection. Also remember that the ink color and the material should contrast with the vehicle color. When using inks on your vinyl decal, we suggest medium colors such as tan, gray, orange, metallic silver and metallic gold.
